Barry M Gelly Nail Polish

I've recently started getting into nail polish again, I went through a stage of never painting my nails. After recently having a haul on every nail polish brand in the high street I have found one of my favorites.

The hi shine gelly really does do what it says on the tin. I love when you find something that actually does what it says. It does suggest a base coat underneath which I believe is to protect your nails and it also gives it a boost to help it stay on longer.

So when buying this i thought id go for a 'out there' color because why not! I've got so many pastel summery colors. This color is amazing and it would suit a lot of people along with a red lipstick. So i put a base coat on just to protect my nail etc. I then applied this, the brush is wide and goes on really well. I did one coat and a few touch ups (nail polish isn't my favorite product to apply). This was amazing just with one coat and as you can see it comes up shiney and full of color, i suppose like a 'gelly' affect.

I got this in the color blood orange which is a a nice bright red. The price is fantastic for the product. It was £3.99 which is slightly more expensive than other Barry M nail polishes but it is definitely the best one I have tried. I would recommend this to anyone,
thanks for reading

  1. I have this nail polish too in the same colour, and I literally can't get it to last more than half a day on me! It's so annoying because I really like the finish and colour. I could use a top coat but then I think it kind of defeats the object of having a gel effect, blah!

    1. Ahh really! Id try a base coat but the whole point is for it to work alone. It's a shame it doesn't work for everyone! I really love sinful colours nail polish and its only £1.99 in boots at the minute :) x
