Updates!

Hey lovelies!

I just wanted to give a few updates about my blog and what's going on within my little life. I've been trying to get a post or two up every week but struggling badly, firstly with pictures I never seem to have free time within the daylight and secondly actually finding time to write posts.

So at the start of uni I didn't expect as much work as I've actually had to do.
There is definitly a difference between first year of uni and second year of uni.
I've had to work my blogging around my uni since my blog is just a hobby I don't intend to take it any further than that.

I have also been trying to plan ideas around starting up another blog which isn't about fashion lifestyle or beauty but I really want to start informing people about sociology. Most people who I talk to outside of my university course won't know what sociology is or people will say to me what you gonna do after that degree or ahh do you want to be a social worker. It's something totally different to that.

I mainly want to inform people about sociology and what it the point of it. I also want to talk about revlant issues. Although everyone will have an opinion on certain issues like homosexuality and feminism. I don't intend to talk about what I think or believe but simply give facts about the issue.

Thanks for reading there will be a review up in a few hours and gonna start planning my week so this doesn't happen again :)

Simple eye cream

Hello lovelies I've only just started using eye cream under my eyes in a combat to make my darks circles become slightly less dark. So most days I will put this on before my makeup and then before bed. This is just one of simples eye products, I know there is a roller ball type and another cream but I'm sure there is many. This one is supposed to sooth your eyes most likely after a day out and about.

So simple claim this product is a right mixture to reduce puffiness and sooth tired eyes. Firstly I do believe it sooths my eyes when I get in from a full day out and I believe it is starting to reduce my black circles. It is leaving me feeling slightly more freshed and if I keep up the routine of applying it every morning and night but also getting around 8 hours sleep I feel like this is really helping reduce my dark circles. I do believe this should be kept chilled because when you apply it to your eyes it feels so good.

So of course smple is well known for making products for people with sensitive skin. So their products are meant to be made with natural ingredients which won't affect the skin. The good thing about this is the price is very purse friendly. Of course there are many brands now who offer a sensitive skin care range both high end and drugstore but this would always be my go to brand when I am looking for a cheaper skin care.

Nice little swash for you all. It's a nice cream to rub in and you don't need much at all. I tend to apply it under my eyes and then around it if they look abit puffy in the corners. This is my first eye cream I have tried and I really think it works. I will probably start hunting for a higher end one just because I think my skin care is important, but I would definitly use this if I felt like I couldn't afford a higher end one.

I would recommend simple for almost all skin care. Especially if you have sensitive and dry skin like me.
This has got a lovely price tag of £3.99

Thanks for reading

Nibble box: Graze

This is a bit of a different post today, recently I decided instead of spending my spare change on chocolate throughout the week I would save it up and get a graze box each week. So within this box you get four tasty treats that come in airtight boxes. Before you order you can go through everything you can possibly receive and choose things you don’t like or don’t want to be sent. So I went through and took out everything that had nuts in.  (yes I am fussy like that)

So after choosing what you would like to try I then ordered mine you can get them once and week or once every two weeks I’m sure you could do once a month too. This is all on your account online so no need to interact with anyone. There is also an option to book a holiday instead of cancelling the direct debit and then re starting it when you are back from a trip away or over Christmas etc. Once you have tried something from graze box you can go back on your account and ask for it again or tick you like it a lot. This means you’re more than likely to get it in your next box or the box after. I haven’t done this yet because I want to try a lot of them before getting something repeatedly sent to me.
Graze is trying to prompt natural but healthy snacks and the packaging says this. It is totally cardboard so everything is recyclable. Inside it is a natural picture all round it is just very cute! So I have had a few boxes now and they tend to give you a variety rather than all fruit or all biscuits which is nice.

What I got in my first box: Garden of England (baby strawberries, apple and black currents), salsa Fresca, summer berry compote and billionaire’s shortbread.
As you can see all are very different, the compotes are so amazing to take to work or university for an after lunch treat.

Thank you for reading I hope you enjoyed reading this and if you have any questions about graze feel free to comment

Clinque chubby stick

Now I never planned to get this product or even researched this! I went to buy a Christmas present from clinque and came out with a chubby stick for myself!

So chubby sticks are coming into the beauty world and there is a good reason why. There are a lot of drugstore brands that support the chubby stick phase! Bourjois is one of my all time favorite brands and they have a little collection of these which are brill!

Anyway I just saw a little collection of these little chubby sticks with a range of different colours so I tried a few and fell in love with this beautiful colour, which is mighty mimosa (13).
The chubby stick comes under lipsticks, it is possible to use this as a lipstick but along side that pro it is a moisturizing lip balm. Just have one application your can feel it giving your lips moisture and softness. At this time of year I feel my lips becoming so dry and some lip balms just don't help at all but this is amazing. It gives you a nice colour but also that lip balm feeling of keeping your lips moist.

Now I know a few of these chubby sticks are more sticky and more lip gloss when applied this one is more like a lip balm when applied.

I went for a natural colour so I can wear it any time anywhere. I love this little stick it is handbag size and light to carry it around. This goes everywhere with me now. This is £17.00 which is expensive since you can get a similar product from the high street. I personally would prefer to spend a little more and get a better quality lip product. I would recommend the bourjois chubby stick as well but I highly recommend the clinque on. It is a top product and the packaging is also very high quality. This chubby stick winds up from the bottom so look after it and you will get all of the product out of it. I know some high street products that you have to either push or sharpen. I personally never buy something if I have to sharpen it mainly because it never sharpens how I want it to.

Overall this is an amazing product and it is well worth the money I love it!

Urban Decay bronzer!

Hey guys! hope you are all ok :) So for my birthday i had a little spending spree in urban decay, it was great. This was one of the products I got because I couldn't resist the urge for a high end bronzer.

Now urban decay packaging is always up there for me. I love it no matter what. I love the gold colour on the box and although it is cardboard it is very strong and it just makes it that bit more 'it was well worth paying for' type thing. As it states on the box this bronzer can be used for face and body. I personally only use it for my face but if you did want to use it on your body it would most likely apply very well just because of the texture of the product but I would say its well worth a go! I just wanna mention how detailed the writing is on the packaging too! I love how professional yet attractive it always looks.

I have this bronzer in toasted and it comes under the baked bronzer. I'm not certain you can still get it in this colour mainly because I can't find it on the website anymore. (That might be me just been stupid) There are other colours by urban decay which are all very nice.

As you can see the packaging is a very nice compact. It doesn't have a mirror inside which of course wouldn't go a miss but nothing to major. Although it looks like a matte type bronzer it does have a slight sparkle to it but nothing to noticeable. Now I have been wearing this bronzer nearly everyday since I have bought it, because we are well into autumn here in the UK I feel it gives your cheeks a nice warm tone. When I want to have a bit more look at my cheeks sorta day I add a blusher to it as well. I haven't actually tried contouring with product but for those will paler skin tones it will be perfect.
I use the real techniques blushing brush to apply this. It is very rich in colour and very pigmented it will give you the perfect look with just a touch on your brush. I am just totally in love with this product at the minute and I just think you can play this down for a casual look but build it up as well.
This was £20.00 which I think is an ok price since it is high end. I love it and I would recommend it to everyone. If you do have a darker skin tone then there are other colours which would probably match better.
