Clinque dramatically different moisturising lotion+

Hey guys, so I think I have waited far to long to do this post but here it goes, I started using this moisturiser back in October 2013 but I have never blogged about it. I do also use the three step kit that clinque do but sometimes I switch and change to my liz earle cleanser and eye potion etc. Although I always stick to this moisturiser.

Like any moisturiser it will work wonders if you use it everyday. I do still now and again get dry patches if I haven't been sticking to my daily skincare routine but this sorts any dry bits out wonderful. It is extra moist so it soaks in straight away and makes them disappear. I often start blending my make-up in while it is still soaking in just so my makeup blends a bit easier over the dry patches.

Some moisturisers that I have used in the past for dry skin are very thick and rich although this one is much more running which I really like, I have a Clinque overnight cream which is much more thicker that I use on a night! That is also great.

You can get this in different bottles some are just an average bottle or you can get the one with the pump which I did get for the first time. It is great and I feel like I use less.

This is a little swatch of it, it comes out yellow as you can see but it is an all round really good moisturiser.
I would definitly recommend this product if you do have dry skin and Clinque is such a good company. If you don't have dry skin Clinque have a test you can complete which will give you the best moisturiser for your skin! Which i think it amazing and all you do is answer a few questions about your skin :)

Now depending on the size of the bottle the prize does vary.
This one was £29.50 but it ranges from £9.50

Liz Earle gift set + review

Hey guys, another one of my christmas presents coming up, THANKYOU MAM!

This is the gift set which my beautiful Mam got my for christmas and it was a complete surprise. I have always thought I would never try any other skincare products apart from things from Clinque. Although this gift set has changed my mind.

So these are the products that come within this set: Hot cloth cleanser, Hot cloth, eye bright, instant boost skin tonic.

The Hot cloth cleanser is now in my everyday skin routine which was definitely my mams aim as she also uses it religiously. This stuff is amazing, the website describes this as a concentrated but gentle cleanser it is plant based. This makes it very natural and no matter how sensitive your skin this shouldn't affect it at all. It is made for all ages and skin types. So all of you can use this no matter what your skin type.
It is a cream based product and I normally use about two pumps and rub it all over my face with slightly extra applied to my dry patches. I then make sure the water is warm/hot and wipe everything off my face with the cloth which is given. I normally do it on a morning and evening and it fits in perfectly with my routine. This product is definitely worth a try, it will most likely be one of the best cleansers you will try.
100ml starter kit (with cloth) £14.75

Now I haven't used these as much as the hot cloth cleanser mainly because I have other products I use but I will start using these more and get a review up! They are both liquid based so I mainly apply them with a cotton pad.

Thankyou for reading I hope you enjoyed it

I can't give a price for the gift set because it was a christmas thing!
Although they do plenty of sets which could give you a little starter kit if you would like to try this brand!

Simple eye cream

Hello lovelies I've only just started using eye cream under my eyes in a combat to make my darks circles become slightly less dark. So most days I will put this on before my makeup and then before bed. This is just one of simples eye products, I know there is a roller ball type and another cream but I'm sure there is many. This one is supposed to sooth your eyes most likely after a day out and about.

So simple claim this product is a right mixture to reduce puffiness and sooth tired eyes. Firstly I do believe it sooths my eyes when I get in from a full day out and I believe it is starting to reduce my black circles. It is leaving me feeling slightly more freshed and if I keep up the routine of applying it every morning and night but also getting around 8 hours sleep I feel like this is really helping reduce my dark circles. I do believe this should be kept chilled because when you apply it to your eyes it feels so good.

So of course smple is well known for making products for people with sensitive skin. So their products are meant to be made with natural ingredients which won't affect the skin. The good thing about this is the price is very purse friendly. Of course there are many brands now who offer a sensitive skin care range both high end and drugstore but this would always be my go to brand when I am looking for a cheaper skin care.

Nice little swash for you all. It's a nice cream to rub in and you don't need much at all. I tend to apply it under my eyes and then around it if they look abit puffy in the corners. This is my first eye cream I have tried and I really think it works. I will probably start hunting for a higher end one just because I think my skin care is important, but I would definitly use this if I felt like I couldn't afford a higher end one.

I would recommend simple for almost all skin care. Especially if you have sensitive and dry skin like me.
This has got a lovely price tag of £3.99

Birthday Haul

I had my 20th birthday on the 3rd of October! So i spent my birthday money on a few bits I've been waiting to get for a while! I have also saved up a lot of my money. I would like to thank my family, boyfriend and friends for all of these presents!
I have separated my products into skincare and makeup.

This is the selection of skincare products that I got. The Loreal micellar was a repurchase. The rest are products I have never tried.

These three products were a present off my friend Hannah, the hand food is a very popular product and can't wait to carry this about. I have never tried both the spray mist and face mask but I am very excited to!

So I did ask my mam for the Clinque moisturizer. I was so excited when i opened the three step pack. I will be doing a review on this. It is amazing! the moisturizer its self is the dramatically different lotion but you can also get a gel type. This is £17.00 for 50ml and you can get it in a tube or a pump style bottle! The Loreal micellar is one of my favourite products at the minute it does my skin wonders you can get this from boots or super drug and most supermarkets have it in (UK only) this ranges from £2.00-4.00, there are always deals on.

I got three real technique brushes to add to my collection! From left to right, expert face brush, blush brush and powder brush. These are just perfect I love them! They ranged from £9.99 to £15.00

This is the makeup products I picked up, The MUA blusher is off hannah again. The rest I picked up myself with money I got for my birthday.

I love MUA blushers I don't have this colour which is great. Now I saw this easy travel friendly eye-shadow pen in a browny colour for the crease and a golden colour for the lid it is great, this was £6.99. I lovely autumn barry M nail polish in a navy blue.

I was so excited when I saw the new Urban Decay palette which I will be reviewing soon so you can see it all! It has 5 eye shadows two blushers and a highlighter as a two story palette. With a added lip crayon and eyeliner. The bronzer which is face and body which is a lovely product and a repurchase of mac mineralize skin-finish powder which is my go to powder and it literally lasts me a year!

I would like to thank everyone for my birthday gifts! I cant wait to play about with them and give them a review!

Thanks

NIVEA moisturizing day cream

I have totally fallen in love with this product. I am constantly trying out new moisturizers to find the 'perfect' one. I don't think I ever will find the perfect moisturizer but this comes pretty close.

So this moisturizer is part of Nivea's daily essentials range. I love this range it has everything you need and Nivea really gets on with my skin. I think Nivea is such a good brand and it is highly underrated. I haven't found a high end brand as good as Nivea yet. This product is aimed at dry and sensitive skin which ticks all the boxes for me, I personally would always read whats in a moisturizer no matter what brand it is. This one has some lovely ingredients in like almond oil keeps your skin feeling fresh and moist. This moisturizer also has an SPF 15 which is great throughout winter as you don't need to much of a high one but you do need something to protect your face.  Although it is a day cream I do apply this morning and night, unfortunately it is only 50ml so it seems to be disappearing faster than I would like.

So i obviously apply more than this but this was just a little example of what it looks like out of the tube. I'm sure you have all seen a moisturizer before its pretty standard. Before applying this i use makeup wipe to take makeup off I then use the Loreal micellar solution and then a cleanser. I then apply this and it really smooths my face out and leaves it feeling soft and ready to either get into bed or start my daily makeup routine. This moisturizer really does what it says on the packaging. I have loved using this and I would buy it again no problem.
This was only £3.00 and the rest of the daily essential range is this cheap too! It is such an amazing price for a whole range of skincare products. They really look after your skin and for such a cheap price it works perfectly.

Thanks for reading.
