Liz Earle gift set + review

Hey guys, another one of my christmas presents coming up, THANKYOU MAM!

This is the gift set which my beautiful Mam got my for christmas and it was a complete surprise. I have always thought I would never try any other skincare products apart from things from Clinque. Although this gift set has changed my mind.

So these are the products that come within this set: Hot cloth cleanser, Hot cloth, eye bright, instant boost skin tonic.

The Hot cloth cleanser is now in my everyday skin routine which was definitely my mams aim as she also uses it religiously. This stuff is amazing, the website describes this as a concentrated but gentle cleanser it is plant based. This makes it very natural and no matter how sensitive your skin this shouldn't affect it at all. It is made for all ages and skin types. So all of you can use this no matter what your skin type.
It is a cream based product and I normally use about two pumps and rub it all over my face with slightly extra applied to my dry patches. I then make sure the water is warm/hot and wipe everything off my face with the cloth which is given. I normally do it on a morning and evening and it fits in perfectly with my routine. This product is definitely worth a try, it will most likely be one of the best cleansers you will try.
100ml starter kit (with cloth) £14.75

Now I haven't used these as much as the hot cloth cleanser mainly because I have other products I use but I will start using these more and get a review up! They are both liquid based so I mainly apply them with a cotton pad.

Thankyou for reading I hope you enjoyed it

I can't give a price for the gift set because it was a christmas thing!
Although they do plenty of sets which could give you a little starter kit if you would like to try this brand!

Elegance is when the inside is as beautiful as the outside - Chanel

Hey guys, yes this post is going to be on Chanel. I think ever since i started getting into makeup and understanding it one of the main things I wanted was something from Chanel. None of the makeup ever made me think oh my I would really like to own that. So up until Christmas I had never owned anything from Chanel.

I would always go to the counters and buy my Mam something from Chanel because there is just something about giving someone a present from there, it says Mam I really love you and I have also put thought into what I have bought you, although it is her big 50 this year and i have no clue what to get her!
So anyway this christmas I was very lucky to get some Chanel no5 of my beautiful Auntie who is my total beauty guru she is perfect!

My auntie got my the EAU DE PARFUM, which is basically the strongest perfume type and one spray is enough. If you are like me i spray a normal perfume everywhere about 10times. There is no need with this it is basically a pure perfume. So when going off this the bottle will last forever if you are only using two sprays a time!

I feel like this perfume stays with you all day. I have experienced perfumes where they don't stay all day and after a day out and about or working it gone by 5oclock.
Obviously the packaging on this product is amazing, every little detail is planned out perfectly and it works so well.

I think Chanel will always stay as a treat for me, there is something about it which makes me feel all girly but at the same time a lady with elegance.

I found a test in my room for the Coco-Mademoiselle and this is also define, one day when i do try this I will definitely give you all a heads up but the Chanel is something everyone needs to experience at one point in their lives.

Welcome 2014

I hope you all had a wonderful new year and you are all thinking positive and looking forward to carrying on your adventures or starting new :)
I'm not a big fan on new year but I thought I'd write a list of goals I would like to achieve this year for my blog and for myself personally. I think i will do a sixth month check up and then hopefully this time next year I will be ticking most of them off.

- become more active on my blog
- organise myself more (stick to my lists)
- explore new ideas for blog posts
- start up a blog on sociology
- write more lifestyle posts

- start saving up money
- go to more cities
- see my sister and family more
- find a career choice for after university
- become more involved with university
- love everyday!

I don't want these to become new year resolutions as such but just things I would like to achieve and I know they are all possible to do.
I hope you all enjoy your year and achieve as much as possible :)

Thanks for reading

Zara shopper bag

Hi guys so I got this bag for Christmas off my lovely Mam which I am very grateful for and would like to thank her so much! It's from Zara and it is sort of a cross between the city bag and shopper bags. It is so beautiful. As you can see it has both a strap and handles but I prefer to use the handles just because the strap is short.

So both of the zips open up and are pockets which I would see are for notebooks are secret presents but I put my laptop in there. Although it is a must to be careful as there isn't much padding. The zip inside the bag divides the space into two.

So on one side there is sort of credit card holders and two little pockets I suppose you could put your loyality cards in here but I would recommend and bank cards just to be safe. I currently have pens in the middle pocket and my lip stuff in the right side. Although I have just started using it so things could always change. I love new bags its like a new adventure especially when they have lots of pockets and zips. (my weird side coming out)

This lining is such a beautiful red and it stands out which makes me love this bag a slight bit more.

I was so pleased when I got this bag as it was a total surprise but I can always trust my Mam to choose the most amazing bags. Thank you Mam it is the best bag ever :)
Sorry I don't know the price of this and I can't find it on the Zara website but there is definitely where it was from.

Thank you for reading!

Nars Sheer Glow Foundation

Hi guys, I hope you have all had a wonderful christmas. I am so excited to write about this little beauty, it has been on my wish list for at least 4 month now and I finally picked it up on my little trip to Selfridges. I was a bit guttered that I couldn't get a pump to go with it as I feel every time i use it i waste a tiny bit but hopefully I will be able to pick one up soon. So this is my first product from Nars and I am so impressed with the packaging.

This is by far the best foundation I have ever used to date. It is full coverage but it is not over the top and because it is full coverage I feel it lasts all day. I just think it is such a nice foundation and once you have tried it you can understand why is it so raved about. I got this in Mont Blanc and it is the perfect shade.

When applying I use the real techniques expert face brush which does an amazing job at buffering it into your skin and gives you such a flawless finish. i did try using a stippling brush to blend it in the skin but I felt the expert face brush did a much nicer job.

So the only thing I would have to pick up on is that it doesn't come with a pump which is sort of annoying and it can cling to dry skin but i find as long as you have a good skincare routine this shouldn't affect it.

Overall this is an amazing foundation and I would recommend everyone to try this. The sheer glow is meant for people with a more dry skin whereas the matte range is for a more oily skin.

Price: £30.50

Trip to Birmingham!

So I finished uni last Thursday which gave me and Connor a bit of time to have a trip to Birmingham before Christmas. I mainly wanted to go for Selfridge's and of course the German market. (There is no good markets in the north-east) So I have posted a few pictures of our little trip.

I didn't get many of the Christmas Market mainly because I was so excited!

How cute are the stalls! No idea what they say though

Wish I got a picture of the tree on a night.

I have no idea what this actually is, can anyone enlighten me?

Yes not the best photo haha

This is our friends cat who we stayed with he is so old but the cutest ever

Of course I had to treat myself to something, I have been lusting after this for a while and it was the only place I could buy it from a shop since there are no nars counters in the north east. I also got a few other things but they are for Christmas so I will have to do another post on those.

I hope you enjoy these kind of posts! :)
